Redwood Bank has announced that it has completed a complex refinancing deal for an experienced portfolio landlord, replacing multiple short-term bridging loans and supporting ongoing investment in student accommodation across Lincoln and Liverpool.
Working with specialist broker Unique Property Finance, Redwood provided £3.7 million in term lending for a portfolio of residential properties converted into student HMOs.

The refinancing replaced short-term bridging facilities with longer-term funding structured across several SPVs and released capital for future acquisitions. Facilities combined residential investment and HMO mortgages, structured on interest-only terms with five-year fixed rates up to 75% LTV. In one case, Redwood completed a refinance in Lincoln from submission to drawdown in just two weeks.
