“We’re proud to have worked alongside Mantle for more than a decade, and this latest facility reflects not only the strength of their portfolio but also our commitment to backing clients who put sustainability and occupier experience at the centre of their business”

Aldermore Bank has announced that it has provided Mantle Group with a £13m commercial mortgage to support the company’s expansion of its sustainability-focused office portfolio across the South East and Eastern England.
The funding is structured across two facilities for different entities within Mantle Group, an Aldermore client since 2014. The refinance consolidates legacy borrowing while establishing a strong platform for growth. Mantle Group plans to explore five new office schemes in the South East, including sites near Stansted Airport.
The facility underscores Aldermore’s approach of providing flexible, tailored solutions to long-standing clients, combining support for growth with sustainability objectives. Mantle Group intends to use the funds to enhance its portfolio with modern, flexible workspaces and to accelerate environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.
“At Aldermore, our customers sit at the heart of every decision we make,” said Azfar Rizvi, commercial director, commercial real estate at Aldermore.
“Mantle Group is a great example of how we build long-term partnerships by listening closely to their ambitions and tailoring solutions that support their growth. We’re proud to have worked alongside Mantle for more than a decade, and this latest facility reflects not only the strength of their portfolio but also our commitment to backing clients who put sustainability and occupier experience at the centre of their business. We look forward to continuing this journey together as they expand across the region.”
“This refinance demonstrates how Aldermore partners with long-standing clients to deliver bespoke funding solutions,” added Michael Graham, CRE business development manager at Aldermore.
“By enhancing Mantle Group’s existing facilities and creating a platform for future expansion, we’re helping them to deliver flexible workspaces that meet evolving market needs. It’s inspiring to work with a business that shares our commitment to innovation, and we’re excited to support their next phase of development.”
Guy Baker, chief executive officer at Mantle Group, said: “Aldermore has been a trusted funding partner for many years, and their support has been instrumental in helping us grow and enhance our portfolio. This refinance enables us to continue investing in high-quality, flexible office environments while accelerating our ESG ambitions, from zero-waste goals to renewable energy and intelligent building systems.
“We’re committed to creating sustainable, future-ready workplaces for our members, and we value Aldermore’s understanding of our business and their proactive, collaborative approach.”
